Frequently Asked Questions

What kinds of pets do you preserve?

Our focus is currently on cats, rabbits, ferrets, chinchillas, gerbils, hedgehogs, and other domesticated small mammals, excluding dogs. But feel free to contact us with questions if you have an animal that isn’t listed here.

Do you offer shipping?

We are currently unable to receive shipments. Drop off and pick up occur by appointment at our location just outside Ann Arbor, Michigan.

How much does pet preservation cost?

Our preservation services start at $500 for skulls and $1,500 for a full disarticulation. Displays and other customizations are available for an added fee, and we require a 50% deposit to begin work. Please contact us for an exact quote.

What should I do with my deceased pet’s remains?

First, wrap your deceased pet in a blanket or paper towels and place them in a ziploc or plastic bag, removing as much air as possible. Then, immediately place them in a freezer. We know this part can be challenging for families. However, following these instructions can help ensure a smoother process.

When should I begin making arrangements?

Doing some end of life planning for your pet can provide peace of mind when the time comes to say goodbye. Many of our clients book their commissions when their pet is aging or entering their final chapter. However, this timeline is completely up to you.
